Emily's Wedding Cake

 

 

 

 

The Bride asked for a Safari Wedding Cake as that's where their favourite Holiday was.

We got thinking how this could be made into a tiered cake enough to feed all the guests. 

 

 

 

 

 

The concept drawings after the brief (I cant draw!)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tried it out with a few tins just to get an idea of height and size for the jeep,

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 The Jeep was made from rice crispy cakes,

these are easier to mold into

shape and are very light to sit on top of such a big cake.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Once it was the right shape it was covered in a thin layer of green sugar paste.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It started to look more like a Jeep with the grill on the front.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Bride and Grooms Married name was to be Walker.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cakes all prepared.

 

 

 

 

 

 

It was looking bigger than expected with all the cakes staked up.
