The brief i got for this cake was simply, Sweden.

The customer and i discussed at length how to achieve the look she wanted.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Stage one - What makes it Sweden, deciding what models to make that would sum up Sweden. 

 

 

 

 

 

Stage two - drawing a map of Sweden in edible felt tip pen, avoiding Norway!

 

 

 

 

 

 Stage three - very carefully cutting out the map.

Stage four - covering the cake making the mountains and islands

 

 

 

 

 

Stage five - I used an air brush to achieve the right feel for grass and mountains. 

 

 

 

 

Stage six - the final planning on where the models should be put.
